48-HOUR OPT-OUT AGREEMENT
Between:
The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Ltd (the “Employer”)
AND
________________________________________ (the “Employee”)
1. The Standard Limit
Under the Working Time Regulations 1998, the average working time of a worker (including overtime) must not exceed 48 hours per week over a standard 17-week reference period, unless the worker has agreed in writing that this limit should not apply.
2. The Agreement
By signing this document, the Employee agrees that the 48-hour average weekly limit on working hours shall not apply to their employment with the Employer.
3. Duration and Cancellation
This agreement will take effect on the date of signature below and will remain in force indefinitely unless terminated. The Employee may withdraw from this agreement at any time by giving the Employer 1 months’ notice in writing.
4. Declaration
The Employee confirms that they are entering into this agreement voluntarily and have not been subjected to any pressure, duress, or detriment by the Employer to sign it. The Employee understands that their other rights under the Working Time Regulations 1998 (including rest breaks, daily rest, and annual leave) remain completely unaffected.
