The Recruitment Crowd is on the lookout for a talented, driven and passionate individual to lead the service as Registered Home Manager for a 2-bed Children's Residential Home based in Plymouth.  

This opportunity will see you lead and inspire your team. With your guidance, the team will ensure that the children living within the home have the very best care, great role models and a place to call home.

Requirements:

At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff.

NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or working towards.

A “Good” or “Outstanding” grade within your recent Ofsted Inspections.

Main Responsibilities: 

Oversee the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC/CIW/OFSTED regulations and best practices.

You will be accountable for delivering high-quality care within the home, ensuring the care and progress children make is outstanding.

You will be responsible for the delivery of quality care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters.

Leading your team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child, focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes.

You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.

Responsible for mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care-focused training to QCF level 3, performance reviews and appraisals

Service development, budget and financial performance of the home.

The protection, safeguarding and promoting the well-being of the children and young people.
