The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a dedicated team to deliver high-quality supported living services. You will ensure services are person-centred, compliant with CQC requirements, and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
Hours: 37.5 per week
Key Requirements
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience in supported living or domiciliary care
- Management / leadership experience (essential), with relevant qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health & Social Care Act
- Experience in creating rosters, maintaining compliance paperwork, and leading audits
- Ability to review and develop support plans, risk assessments, and client documentation
- Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with a caring and approachable nature
- British Sign Language skills (desirable)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise care staff and act as service lead in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Ensure policies, procedures, and regulatory standards are met
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff teams
- Promote and safeguard client wellbeing
- Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and regular team meetings
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready records
- Support the continuous improvement of services
