The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Leeds. We are looking for HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers to join the team.

Roles Available:
- HGV Class 2 Driver - Days
- HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights
Pay Rate:
- HGV Class 2 - £14.43 per hour PAYE
- HGV Class 1 - £17.77 per hour PAYE
Hours & Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday
- Class 1 Nights - 20:00pm starts
- Class 2 Days - 11:00am starts
- 8–10 hour shifts
- Ongoing, consistent work available
Class 1 Role:
- Completing trunking work between the client’s hubs
- Completing up to 2 runs per night
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
- Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Maintaining a professional approach at all times
Class 2 Role:
- Completing multi-drop runs in an 18-tonne vehicle
- Average of 8- 10 collections/deliveries
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
- Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Maintaining a professional approach at all times
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 (C+E/ C licence)
- 6 months experience required
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
- Valid CPC and Digi Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
