The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tewkesbury area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.
Shifts: Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time)
Hours: Days and nights
Pay Rate:
- Days Bulk - £15.36 per hour PAYE
- Nights Bulk- £15.86 per hour PAYE
- Days Trunk - £16.00 per hour PAYE
- Nights Trunk - £18.25 per hour PAYE
Location: Tewkesbury GL20 8UQ
Job Type: Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing
The role:
- Trunking - Performing trunk runs to hub in Coventry or Rhyton
- Bulk - average of 15- 20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months minimum experience required
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
