The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sittingbourne area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter (CAT C&E) to join the team.
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday
start time: 02:00am Finish time: 10:00am
Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour PAYE
Location: Sittingbourne, ME10
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
. Moving Trailers and trucks around the yard
· Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
. Helping in the warehouse when there is no shunting required
· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
. 1 Years experience
· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A safety-first mindset.
