We are currently hiring Welders for a leading manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established team.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday 07:15-13:15. OT available Monday-Friday 06:00-08:00 and Saturday 06:00-12:00
Rate: £16.07 standard, OT at £24.11 per hour
Type: Temp to perm
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG and MAG welding
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in the assembly of metal structures, ensuring precision and quality standards are met
- To read/interpret drawings.
- Use of metal cutting and grinding equipment.
- Clean tools, equipment, and work areas, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Always maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, whilst maintaining a high level of productivity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in MIG and MAG welding processes
- Confident carrying out Butt welds, plug welds and fillet welds.
- Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.
- Experience working in a structural welding environment and confident carrying out cylindrical welds.
