The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Children’s Home Manager on behalf of our client, a growing provider of specialist residential childcare services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care for children and young people. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading a residential home, supporting staff development, and ensuring exceptional care standards are maintained.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day operation of a residential children’s home
- Provide support, supervision, and leadership to the staff team
- Maintain high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations
- Work closely with families and external agencies
- Manage budgets, staffing, safeguarding, and compliance
- Drive service improvement and positive outcomes for young people
- Support recruitment, training, and staff development
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within residential childcare preferred
- Experience supporting children with autism, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviours
- Strong understanding of Ofsted standards and relevant legislation
- Passion for trauma-informed practice and the PACE parenting model
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
