The Recruitment Crowd is expanding and we are recruiting Residential Support Worker to join our temporary agency workforce, supporting a wide range of clients around the Northeast (various locations) in healthcare settings.
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and reliable Residential Support Worker to join our friendly team. You will support residents to live safe, fulfilling and independent lives while providing high-quality, person-centred care and support. You will build positive relationships with residents, encourage independence, and help them achieve their personal goals in a safe and supportive residential environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and emotional support to residents.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meals, medication support and household tasks where required.
- Encourage residents to develop independence and make their own choices.
- Develop positive and trusting relationships with residents, families and professionals.
- Follow individual care and support plans and contribute to reviews.
- Promote safeguarding and report any concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
- Support residents with challenging or distressed behaviour using positive and appropriate approaches.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
