The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated Van Drivers to join the team. 

Shift Schedule:

  • Tuesday to Saturday 
  • Sunday to Thursday 
  • Monday to Friday 

Start time: 09:00am 

Pay Rate : £13.00 per hour with overtime at £19.50 after 40 hours

Location: Carlisle, CA6 

Job Type: Ongoing 

The role:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial) 
  • 60+ stops per day 
  • Bulk Collections & Bulk deliveries
  • Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
  • Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
  • Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driver's license.
  • have 1 years experience with multi-drop delivery 
  • Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offenses only).
  • Have a recent DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
  • Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
