The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading parcel courier client based in Gatwick (RH10). We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse team with immediate starts available.
Available Shifts
- Twilight Shift: 12:00pm start
- Inbound Shift: Afternoon/Evening start (shift times confirmed at interview)
- Night Shift: 11:00pm start
Shift lengths are typically 8–10 hours, however all shifts are until finish, so flexibility is essential.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring parcels are sorted, processed, and dispatched accurately and on time within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sorting and organising parcels quickly and accurately.
- Scanning parcels using handheld scanners.
- Loading and unloading trailers and delivery vehicles.
- Moving parcels throughout the warehouse to the correct locations.
- Ensuring parcels are labelled and prepared for dispatch.
- Identifying damaged parcels and reporting them in line with company procedures.
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential – full training is provided.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role, including lifting parcels of varying sizes and weights.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Flexible to work until the operation has finished each day.
- Own transport or a reliable way to travel to the RH10 site is preferred due to shift times.
