The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) are seeking a dependable and organised Weekend Recruitment Coordinator to support our busy Transport & Logistics Division. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates local to Leeds, where our core team is based.
You’ll attend a Friday afternoon Teams meeting with the Delivery Manager for Central Resource and the Regional Manager for Hubs before starting your weekend cover. From then, you’ll be the key contact ensuring smooth operations across our transport network until Sunday evening.
The Role:
From Friday afternoon through to Sunday, you’ll take full responsibility for weekend operations, including:
• Workforce Coordination: Overseeing shift plans across multiple sites to ensure hubs remain fully manned.
• Absence Management: Monitoring, chasing, and backfilling absences in real time.
• Assessment & Induction Support: Confirming and chasing assessments, arranging replacements when required.
• Resourcing: Actively resourcing for priority sites over the weekend if needed.
• Communication & Reporting: Sending a detailed weekend handover email on Sunday evening/Monday morning to update the weekday team.
Key Requirements:
• Recruitment, workforce coordination, or logistics background preferred, but not essential for the right person.
• Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with candidates, managers, and clients remotely.
• Self-sufficient, dependable, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation across the weekend.
Hours:
• Friday afternoon Teams meeting.
• Weekend cover from Friday PM through Sunday (remote).
• Flexibility essential – this is a hands-on role ensuring sites are supported at all times.
