The Recruitment Crowd is expanding, and we are looking for experienced Residential Support Workers to join our temporary agency workforce, supporting our client across various locations in the North East.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
You will help residents feel safe, supported and valued, while encouraging independence and helping them achieve their individual goals.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and emotional support.
- Support children and young people with daily living activities.
- Assist with personal care, meals, medication support and household tasks where required.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive choices.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with residents, families and professionals.
- Follow individual care and support plans.
- Promote safeguarding and report concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
- Support residents experiencing challenging or distressed behaviour using positive approaches.
- Work effectively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
- Promote dignity, equality, inclusion and independence at all times.

🎓 Qualifications
A relevant qualification is desirable, including:
- Care Certificate
- Level 2 or Level 3 Health & Social Care
- Equivalent care or healthcare qualification
You must also be willing to undertake relevant training and professional development.
