Our client, a reputable 3PL company located in Wigan, is currently seeking a Scanner to join their night shift team.
Location: Wigan, WN4
Pay Rate: £13.08 per hour.
Job Type: Temp to perm.
Hours: Monday to Friday. 18:00-03:30 with 2 X 20-minute breaks included.
Main responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure all safety checks are completed on relevant equipment at the start of your shift.
- Use scan unit in an efficient manner
- Ensure all pallets are scanned on allocated trailers.
- Identify profile of pallets/clause accordingly
- Use digital camera/able to manually document.
- Observe site rules at all times.
- Carry out all your duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
- Co-operate fully with company matters of health & safety.
- Present yourself in a polite and professional manner when dealing with both colleagues and depot drivers.
Requirements:
- Must have scanning experience
- Due to finish time, candidates must live locally or have their own means of transport
- Reliable, can-do attitude and good communication skills
