Job Post Summary – Van Driver (Washington, NE37)

Location: Washington, NE37
Job Type: Ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Pay:
- £12.75 per hour (PAYE) Increases to £13.30 per hour after 12 weeks (PAYE)
Hours:
- 8:00 AM start
- 5–6 shifts per week, including weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect parcels from Parcelshops and Smart Lockers.
- Load and unload parcels manually.
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules.
- Handle parcels carefully and ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
- Ability to pass a driving assessment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit to load and unload parcels.
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively.
- Flexible to work weekends and up to 5–6 shifts per week.
